Oliver Peoples collaborates with Assouline for their editorial debut.
“California As We See It” is a collaborative effort between Oliver Peoples and luxury publisher Assouline. With a culturally distinctive and understated approach to luxury, Oliver Peoples is rooted in the spirit of California with a global following of tastemakers and eyewear enthusiasts. California as We See It invites readers on a visual journey of Oliver Peoples history, sharing an intimate experience of California through the lens of the brand with the foreword written by long time brand collaborator, Lisa Eisner and celebrated design and culture expert, Brad Dunning. The book discusses lifestyle topics of Los Angeles, with elements of film, art, architecture, music and fashion, which remain at the core of Oliver Peoples DNA.
Research & Concepts
We dove head first into researching the deep and storied history of the Oliver Peoples brand, through the research and discover phase we uncovered a long lasting connection between Los Angeles and Oliver Peoples. We used that as the starting point for the structure of the book.
