The project brief was to Ideate & Design a new boutique in the heart of Rome which exemplifies the Oliver Peoples style and aesthetic while using queues from Roman design & craftsmanship.

Great care and attention is given to the location, materials, furniture and finish. Additionally, the locality of each store is an important factor, while designing the Rome boutique we took into account the local materials and artisans in order to create something that fitted the local area while still in keeping with the Oliver peoples aesthetics.

The terrazzo floor is indicative of the local craftsmanship we tapped, using artisans to lay down by hand Tarrazo tile flooring. A method passed from generation to generation, a heritage product which speaks to the same values that Oliver Peoples hold as their truth.
